MindSync ("we," "our," "us") is an AI-based journaling application designed to help users track and analyze their emotional and behavioral patterns through daily inputs and summaries. These Terms govern your access and use of the App, its content, and services.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Account Creation: To use certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
You agree not to:
- Use the App for illegal, fraudulent, or malicious activities.
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the App.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the App.
Data Collection: We collect and process personal data, including emotional patterns, daily journal entries, and behavioral inputs, to provide personalized insights and summaries.
Data Storage: Your data is securely stored on third-party cloud servers (e.g., AWS, Azure). We employ encryption to protect your data.
Your Rights: You can access, edit, or delete your data through the App or by contacting us at support@mindsync.app

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including AI algorithms, design elements, and text, are the exclusive property of MindSync. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.
Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you input into the App.
License: By using the App, you grant us a license to process your content for the purpose of providing the App's services.
Free and Paid Plans: MindSync may offer both free and subscription-based plans. Features available to you depend on your plan level.
Payments: All fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
No Medical Advice: The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a healthcare provider regarding mental health concerns.
No Guarantees: We make no guarantees about the accuracy or effectiveness of the App’s insights.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MindSync shall not be liable for:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
- Loss of data or unauthorized access due to external factors (e.g., hacking).
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms.
- You may delete your account and cease use of the App at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Poland.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The short version: MindSync helps you get more out of therapy. It is not therapy itself, and it is no use in an emergency. Your content stays yours. Be 16 or older, use the app fairly, and remember that AI can be wrong. Subscriptions run through the App Store or Google Play, and you can cancel anytime.
MindSync ("we", "us") is operated by ToTalkTo Dariusz Wiśniewski, Gdańsk, Poland (NIP: 5922231851, REGON: 363389287). You can reach us at hello@mindsync.app. By creating an account or using the MindSync app or website, you agree to these Terms. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
MindSync is an AI-powered journal and companion for people in therapy. It captures your sessions and notes, tracks moods, goals, and homework, and turns them into summaries and insights.
MindSync is not a healthcare provider and not a medical device. It cannot diagnose or treat anything, and its insights are not medical advice. For questions about your mental health, talk to a qualified professional.
In a crisis, do not rely on MindSync. Call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US) or a crisis line such as 988 in the US.
You must be at least 16 years old to use MindSync. Give us accurate information, keep your login details to yourself, and tell us right away if someone else gets into your account. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
Everything you put into MindSync remains yours. We receive only the narrow permission needed to store it, process it (including AI analysis by our service providers), and show it back to you. Nothing more. We never use your therapy content for advertising. You can export your data, or delete your content and your whole account, inside the app at any time.
MindSync also lets you share summaries and check-ins with people you choose. Once something leaves the app, that copy is in your hands and the recipient's.
If you record a therapy session, ask your therapist for permission first. Recording laws differ between countries and between US states, and some places require consent from everyone in the room. Making sure a recording is legal is your job, not ours. We transcribe recordings and delete the audio afterwards.
Do not use MindSync to break the law or to harm or harass anyone. Do not upload another person's private information without their permission. Do not hack, overload, scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the service, resell it, or use it to build a competing product or dataset.
MindSync has a free tier and paid plans, with current prices shown in the app and the app stores. Apple and Google handle all payments, renewals, free trials, and refunds under their own rules. Subscriptions renew automatically; to avoid the next charge, cancel in your store settings at least 24 hours before renewal. We never see or store your card details. Your statutory consumer rights stay intact, and if prices change, we tell you before the change reaches you.
MindSync's summaries and insights come from artificial intelligence. Sometimes they will be wrong, and they can only ever reflect what you put in. Treat them as material for reflection and for conversations with your therapist, not as facts or professional advice.
We keep building MindSync, which means features can change, move between plans, or disappear. Experimental features may come and go. We aim for reliable service but cannot promise it will never be interrupted.
The MindSync app, brand, design, and code belong to us or our licensors. Do not copy or reuse them without written permission. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve MindSync without owing you anything.
You can stop at any time: delete your account in Settings and your data is erased as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, and where reasonable we warn first. The sections on your content, our property, liability, and governing law survive termination.
We work to keep MindSync reliable, but to the extent the law allows: the service is provided "as is", we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage or for events outside our reasonable control, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 if you paid nothing.
None of this limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as willful misconduct, and none of it takes away your mandatory consumer rights, including the EU's statutory guarantees for digital services.
Polish law governs these Terms. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of your home country's mandatory laws, and you can bring a dispute before your local courts. Before anything formal, write to hello@mindsync.app. Most problems get solved by email.
If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest still applies. We may transfer these Terms as part of a sale or restructuring of MindSync; your rights stay the same and we will notify you. Your account is personal and not transferable. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about MindSync.
MindSync evolves, and these Terms will evolve with it. Before significant changes take effect, we notify you in the app or by email. If you keep using MindSync afterwards, the new Terms apply. If you disagree with them, stop using the app and delete your account.
