We’re starting with therapy tracking so...

Problem & Solution

How it started

I wanted to put my life experience with drug-resistant depression into a piece of tech.

For almost a decade, I’d get better for a moment, just to spiral down again. For the past two years, I’ve finally been in remission.

No one ever told me how much it would cost, how long it’s going to take, what I’d actually need to get better, or even what “better” really meant. I’ve spent the last seven years in therapy. Most of that time, despite trying really hard, I didn’t see any significant change. That’s fucked up.

Three psychiatrists. Fifteen different treatments. Six therapists. Five approaches. Two clinical trials. And still, I was as confused as before. I’ve spent well over 100k on treatments, just to get lukewarm results.

I wanted to make something that helps you know if you’re really getting better. To help you understand if the time, energy, and money you’ve put in are actually working for you. Are you doing therapy – or just browsing therapists?

I had no idea there were dozens of therapy approaches, hundreds of drugs, and countless daily behaviors that can make a difference. There’s a fuck-ton you can do for mental health, but only a few things that are truly transformational.

Hello! It's the founder here

My name is Darek and in October of 2018 I planned my death day.

It took me only 7 years of therapy, 3 psychiatrists, 6 therapists, 5 approaches, 15+ treatments and 3 clinical trials, and well over 100k to get better.

I'm now celebrating 2 years of remission from treatment resistant clinical depression. I ran a marathon (3h55m), lost 40kg, worked for big Pharma, did a triathlon, performed on stages, volunteered, adopted a dog, bought an apartment in a big city, and created a startup.

I'm sharing this to let you know more about me, that about Mind sync. Many people share similar stories. I just wanted to use mine, to make a change for the sad community. Where our scars are unseen, openness is ridiculed and hope feels like a joke. I think that tech can give us an anchor for a better tomorrow .

MEET THE TEAM

And all our team hidden behind the scenes

We’re a small, self-funded crew of misfits, dreamers, and doomers. From ADHD to big pharma, from code and UX to psychology. We carry our scars, our stories, and our hope, that we can make getting better, a little better.

Darek

Founder & CEO

He planned his last day once. Instead, he found therapy, psychiatrists, labs, and a way forward. Fifteen years in management, eight in MedTech, and a lifetime of scars taught him persistence. From AstraZeneca to building startups, from a hospital bed to marathons – his drive is to turn personal pain into something that matters for others.

Mikołaj

Founder & CTO

He speaks in data the way others tell jokes. Forecasting, automation, and AI models are his playground. From launching recommendation systems in dozens of stores to leading AI for medical systems, he builds tools that don’t just work – they listen. He’s the architect behind the tech that makes MindSync think.

Dawid

UX/UI Lead

If feelings had shapes, Dawid would sketch them. Six years designing games, apps, and interfaces taught him one thing: people don’t just use products, they feel them. He brings humanity to pixels, making sure every user isn’t just a data point but someone who deserves clarity, ease, and a little beauty in their healing process.

Katarzyna

Psychologist

She’s been walking the line between psychology and tech for over a decade. A psychologist, wellbeing consultant, and mental health center coordinator, she brings the human compass. She knows how fragile people can be – and how strong. Her voice keeps the team grounded, reminding us that behind every chart and metric is someone’s real life.

Justyna

Marketing Manager

She wraps all our app technical intricacies in words, stitching stories that actually fit. She's been translating business offers into human voices for almost a decade – the kind that sell without manipulating and connect without pretending. For her, selling is never just about products; it’s about making life easier, brighter, or fuller for someone on the other side.

our mission

Know if therapy is truly helping you

Our mission is simple: to help people know if they are truly getting better in therapy. So they don't waste years with people who never really helped and thousands of dollars on the wrong therapy approach, so they don't waste years with people who never really helped and thousands of dollars on the wrong therapy approach,

our Plans and dreams

Stop the guesswork in mental health

Right now, we’re focused on therapy – making it better, clearer, and measurable. Next, we’ll bring therapists into the loop, so progress becomes co-accountable. Then psychiatry, to cut the trial-and-error and get to treatments that work faster.

All of it for one goal: to stop the guesswork in mental health – and give people real mental health data.
